Blessed Are the Meek

The Sermon on the Mount was a discipleship lesson more than it was a sermon.  Jesus was teaching His disciples critical concepts for living a blessed, joyful, Christian life.  The portion of the sermon that we are studying has been called the Beatitudes, which means the state of supreme happiness.  In this third Beatitude, Jesus promises supreme joy and an amazing inheritance to those who develop meekness.
